the giant radish
'The giant radish" is a romanian folktale about a traditional countryside family. One day harvesting the radish crops the old man discovered something amazing - a giant radish. Because he couldn't drag it out by himself called for help. One by one the members of his family came to help....even the mouse. Finally the radish was out and very big... :)
